ICOD is a grass-roots organization implementing community based projects dealing with HIV/AIDS, child’s rights abuses, and sustainable improvements in the socio-economic status of vulnerable citizens in the Lyantonde district of Uganda. Like Project FOCUS, ICOD is a volunteer organization, and the two groups have formed a partnership based on the shared goal of bringing sustainable development to Lyantonde through supporting local initiatives that foster accountability, empowerment, and community ownership.
